Bearded Dragon with pale tail

Greetings Everyone ...

I have a beaded dragon with a blue-ish tail... pretty pale compared to the rest of him. It would be cool if there was someone who has had a similar experience that could help me out with what might be his problem.

Thanks!

Hi Austin...could be old shed. I have several Bearded Dragons though that their tails are darker than the rest of their bodies. Do you have some pictures?

Welcome to HCN! How long have you had him?
A shed was my first thought as well. Since lizards shed in sections it may be that the tail is getting ready to shed.

Welcome to Herp Center, our oldest Bearded Dragon just shed this week. Checked on her in the morning and when I got home from work, her water bowl had a huge piece of belly shed in it. I think she was trying to take a bath lol
