Hi Everyone!
Hi everyone, I'm really happy I found this site while doing my favorite thing these days... researching on Leopard Geckos!
I consider myself an amateur but I'm learning fast and in less than one year have acquired 6 adult Leopard Geckos and after breeding and making my own incubator, 2 newborns and more on the way. This is soo fun! I have great support from my local pet store and friends but not from my husband who would just love the critters be living outside! Of course, he is ignorant of the fact I have acquired so many more than the 3 he thinks I have and definately does not know about the breeding!! What he doesn't know of course can't hurt him. I have managed to acquire a perfect place for my herps in an apartment in the shop with heated , carpeted room, and kitchen with a fridge for my gutloading veggies and fruit storage. It's ideal and not in the house! My husband of course thinks he's ****ed me off by delegating me and those critters to the shop!!! Will read with interest the forums and if I have any questions will bow to the experts among you! I live in central British Columbia and will often take trips to Vancouver to acquire the next gecko at a pet store I discovered in Burnaby or needed supplies. Thanks for reading and feel free to introduce yourselves! |

Thanks everyone for your warm welcome! I already love this spot. I joined one up here but find them too technical and not as friendly. And Steve, mmmmmmmmm I wonder if you can talk to him ? LOL
I'm not sure why this "hobbie" has so enthralled me? Are we a special breed or what? I'm looking forward to a happy, interesting and informative relationship with you all. Will attempt to post pictures of my darlings soon. I just have to capture one of Leila. She was molting when I did the picture thing last. Not too attractive. Well, time to cook supper, unfortunately was planning to BBQ , however the thunder and lightening are starting up.........! |
