Hello!

I am new to this website. I stumbled upon it while I was researching to figure out what type of frog I had just aquired. I am a biologist, specializing in herpetology. I currently have 4 frogs and 2 cats. I am always looking for more herps though! This weekend marks the beginning of our family's herp season! We are hoping to find some western crotalids (rattlesnakes) in Central Oregon! (Only if it is warm enough) Anyway, I have taken and co-taught herpetology college courses so if there is anyone out there that has any questions or concerns, I have studied just about all of the worldwide herps, and have many field guides and textbooks for research! Take care!! Blessings!!

Nan, welcome to herp center, you will find a lot of friendly people here. I have learned many things by asking questions from the members. Oh no...you said the H word. lol My son Sean will start to bug you, as he wants to become a herpetologist when he gets older.
