LOL! It won't matter how deep the water is, the crickets will get in there and drown! They aren't the brightest creatures. I do believe if there was a thimbleful of water in there they would find it and drown their silly selves!

I know it stinks. I even put thirst quench and gut load and some kind of cricket food in the tank, but the suckers still want to get in the water!

I keep a rock in all my cricket eater's water bowls...that way "most" of them can find a way out if they go swimming....there are some dumb ones...but you cant save all of them LOL.....Lyn

I just got a fountain for my gecko, so I will have to put a rock in the bottom of it. I just don't want this fountain to leak likt the last one. The pump died too. I think the crickets did it. =)
