Hello all members,
Looking forward to sharing info on iguanas and other lizards. Recently acquired a brown basilisk and have some questions on husbandry. Also, curious if anyone knows the best places to see green igs in the wild. Just returned from Costa Rica and only saw the garobos(black/off white) version and czentasaurs. Love to travel and enjoy looking for herps, esp. green igs.

Hi Ginea and welcome to HCN!
If you want to see iguanas just go down to south Florida! They have become a nuisence down there!
Of course ,folks flower gardens might not really pass for "in the wild"!

Hello,
Welcome to the HC Network. If you actually like to travel, you can visit the carribean Islands, El Salvador, Paraguay, and most locations in Central/South America. lol
Florida is ridden with Iguanas as well like Merlin mentioned. They are like farrow cats there now. You see them, but they aren't exactly considered wild. lol

Welcome to HC! I saw tons of green iguanas in Costa Rica at Esterillos, just South of Playa Hermosa, which is the pacific coast about smack dab in the middle of costa.
