Welcome to HC Network. Not sure how many clutches they have, but hopefully someone will come along who can help. Good luck with your quest.

Just out of interest why do you want one one that has many clutches a year?

Most snakes as a rule will have just the one clutch/litter although it is not uncommon for some egg laying snakes to double clutch...but it is almost unheard of (as far as I'm aware) for a snake to have more than that.

i was thinking the same thing... why do you want that many cluches? have you reserched at all about any snakes? is the only reson you want snakes is a profit? cause it wont keep you alive just breeding snakes. how many snakes are you interested in geting at first??? and last but not least, have you EVER owned a snake befor?

thats about it....

If you are responsible enough to house and care for the snakes properly, including all the offspring, African House Snakes would be a great choice. They are known to lay clutches about every 70 days. Most imports are witnessed mating in the bags even on the way over to America! They are really prolific breeders.

but how do you sell off all those babys. house snakes sell for little and in small numbers it would be a waste of time breeding them IMO would cost more to feed and heat them all

CBB African House snakes are actually in pretty high demand. You could probably sell them for $80 each. But you have to realize, many place will buy them in lots. I just hatched 14 normal corn snakes. Two wouldnt eat so I still have them. But I made $200 on the other 12. And I only spent about $25 bucks on 100 pinkies. You have to use your head and think about it...
