New to Ball Pythons!

HI! My name is Carol and I live in Texas. I'm new to the reptile world, and really looking forward to the knowledge I can obtain here!...Any help, or suggestions are appreciated greatly...I have a Ball Python that is roughly 6-8 months old and have had him (or her) for about a week now. I came across this group in hopes of finding some good information on proper care and handling and feel very positive about everyones advice. Thanks in advance for all the silly questions I'm sure that I'll ask!

Welcome to the Herp Center Network! I'm sure you'll enjoy the site. Here's a caresheet just in case you don't already have one for you new BP.

I'm also a Ball Python owner, they are very neat snakes.
Also, any questions you have we are happy to answer.

The biggest thing about they're eating habits is that you have to relax about it. They can get a little picky, which was the main reason I didn't want one in the first place but mine just kinda found me and I'm sure glad he did.

Welcome Carol! A lot of us here have BP's. Don't get too worried yet.
Not all of them are problem feeders.

HI and welcome to HC Network. I love my BPs. They are excellent to hold. And no question is a silly question. WHen you want to learn you ask. Simple enough.

Hi Carol,

Welcome to Herp Center! You sure came to the right place to get answers. There are some very knowledable people on this site willing to help.
Ball pythons make graet pets, and they give GREAT neck massages!

Glad to have you here!

Steve
