What all greens have you offered him? I have often got babies started by offering baby spinach, but dont continue to give spinach on a daily basis, it is hight in oxalates (sp) and can bind calcium. Another good first time green for babies is Endive. Its worth a try, good luck. Hand feeding is another good technique as marsha mentioned. (As long as you dont mind feeding him this way, cuz he WILL get used to it, lol).

Remeber that at this age, protien is the most important part of your babies diet. Crickets, roaches and silk worms are absolutely the best thing for him right now. Whereas the greens are more important in older, adult Bearded Dragons. Good luck...

Hi and welcome to HC. Luckily, my babies love their greens. They are especially fond of anything that resembles greens and will happily jump at you to get to them!!

Your baby is a little young to be really 'wanting' greens and the bulk of it's diet shold be live foods anyway so you shouldn't need to worry too much at the moment. As your baby grows, it will require more greens and should (provided you leave them in fresh every day) finally realise what they are there for lol

Good luck and please post pics of your little one - we likes pics

He ate a piece if yellow squash off my finger last night! I had him out while his cage was getting cleaned and thought I would try. It was a one time deal though...he wouldn't take another bite...LOL I did give him his first "bath" last night which he liked. The only picture I have of him on my computer is the one shown on the posts...the rest are still on the camera until I get around to downloading my next batch. As soon as I do that I'll add some because he is a real cutie Thanks everyone for all the advice and encouragement...he seems to be healthy and getting very PLUMP so I'll try to stop fretting...LOL Besides, the crickets eat pretty darn good and he eats them sooooo...it works! If anyone has any other tips etc on caring for my baby I'd love to hear them...I have a book I bought and have read some stuff on the net but I have alot to learn as this is my first reptile of any kind. We have dogs and cats, have had hamsters, got fish and gerbils for the kids for Christmas, and I used to have birds...LOL

Well as long as he is eating something, thats what counts, lol. My very first one would run thru them and scatter it all over the tank to make me think he ate some, kinda like I did as a child with my veggies...

LOL...yeah...my baby just turns his nose up much like I did as a kid! I had no idea these little guys had so much personality...or that I would enjoy him as much as I do when I agreed to get him for my husband. I waste ALOT of time just watching him sit on his branch! LOL I used to call home and ask about my husband's day and ask about my kids but now the first thing I ask is "How is Lewis doing? Did he eat any veggies? Check his temps to make sure he's not too hot..." I have lost my mind!!!!!

Jayr...I have the Bearded Dragon Manual and it is well read! Thanks for the other tip...I'm going to check out the library and see what they have. I have learned alot talking to other people...everytime I'm at the petstore and run accross someone willing to talk dragons I pick their brain! I also have learned a few don'ts from people's mistakes...at least I won't repeat those
