Hello

I just wanted to introduce myself - I have a female Chinese Water Dragon named China (very original but we had to rename her when we found out he's a she). I am new to the reptile world but always searching the web for information. China is housed in a 65 gallon meshed reptarium after suffering from some snount damage in her 20L glass tank. In the reptarium she has a pond, waterfall, real plants and tree branches for climbing although her favorite place is being underneath the waterfall. The only problem I am having with the reptarium is keep the humidity in and I am also concerned about warmth. We keep a heater in the room to maintain a room tempature of 75 during the night - it gets cold at night on the eastcoast. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would suggest wraping the cage with plastic wrap around the sides, may not look pretty but it will help keep temp/humid up...and welcome to hc!! I have 3 chinese water dragons myself

Hi Chinagirl and welcome to Herp Center. We do have many members who have the water dragons. In fact one of the foremost authorities among herpers. I am positive that you will be seeing a post from Tricia.
