New To Community

HI EVERYONE,
I AM NEW TO THE HERP COMMUNITY AND A NEW HERP OWNER. I have a two month old Green Water Dragon named "Sydney". I call Sydney a he as a generalization because I won't know his/her sex until about a year and a half. When I got Sydney he appeared healthy but in fact was infested with Parasites . He has now been under doctor's care for two weeks and appears to be making a slow but steady progress. By the time I noticed he was ill it was nearly too late. The Vet told me his chances were not very good and I would probably lose him but I did not give up and boy am I glad.. He's still not fully recovered but is doing much better now. I would advise anyone who gets a new pet to take them to the Vet immediately for a check up. I almost learned the hard way and at Sydney's expense .
