Hi i'am new.

I have had my Iguana for about 2.5 months. He is such a sweet heart.I am not sure how old he is ,I rescued him from my sisters neighbor. He is missing his left hand and his right one does not have alot of function in it.Hercules is what I named him for I felt he needed a masculine name.his incloser is 5 feet long by 3 feet deep by 4 feet high.My husband built it for him about two weeks ago. Before that they had him in a 15 gallon tank and he is almost two feet long from tip of nose to tip of tail.We decided not to build it real high do to his disability's, with missing a hand he can not grasp as a normal Iguana can. Theres ramps for climbing we tried logs but he could not climb them very good, So to reduce the injury problems we chose the ramps.I also have two bearded dragons , Thor and Joey they are about 8 months old now, Don't worry they each have thur own homes two.Joey is in a 40 breeder and Thor is in a 55 gallon. Then I have a leopard Gecko named Pandora and a crested gecko named Annie. My fur baby Gabby Rose is a cocker spaniel spoiled rotten she is now 7 years old. There is a 125 gallon tank with my Oscars in it two.So as you all can see I love my critters.I have been on this board sence I rescued Hercules, Just doing research on how to take care of him. I can thank you all for all the good post for here is where I have learned the most.Hercules is very happy and will ajusted Iguana now do to the help I have recieved.

Hi Pamela and welcome to Herpaholics. Oops I meant to say Herp Center.
I love your collection. We HAD a tiger oscar until this morning. He wasn't that old as he was only a foot long. Anyhow, the 55 that he was in will be drained and cleaned this afternoon and be reset for two of our neonate green iggys. We definately are waiting to see pics of your herps.

hi! Pamela, my daughter are the same way they rescued a hamster about 4 years ago that some one had dropped it couldn't walk very well and not in a strait line, but it was the best friend my daughter ever had... we even had surgery done on it...(thats some kind of love) it passed away from old age about 2 years ago... broke her heart.. but its nice people take the time to care for the Li'L critters.. I also have 2 oscars in a 150 gal. (my babys) and we have a garter snake... (sneaky) two dogs, two cats, 3 kids, and we are doing research for a new family member... we'll find the right one soon.... anyway welcome

Ron
