Smiley says....
Smiley is a WD approx 2 years old and two feet long. She has a great home, 4'x5'x3' living area (with storage underneath) and with a 2 gal sink she can submerge herself in for 30 min at a time. She also basks there on a rock and has a pump that moves her water constantly. She will eat Jurassi diet for bearded dragons occaisionally and likes the exo terra grasshoppers. She only gets those on Wed., kind of a mid week pick-me-up. Otherwise its cricket heaven. We order 250 at a time online because I couldn't aford to feed her from the pet shop. These guys get the best jurassi diet because soy is not good for WD. It stops the absorption of calcium. Be careful what you feed your crickets, after all, you are what you eat. Smiley had two broken bones, one in her arm and one in her leg on the same side. She was too small to have them set so they grew a little crookedly but that doesn't slow her down! It is great to see her run on two hind legs when she hits the carpet!
We have had her about 18 months and really enjoy her. |
