Manhirwen,

Hello, Thank you for the welcome,

Actually Java is very laid back, even as a hatchling and juvenile.

DarkMagician,

Thank you for the welcome, I apologize for the delay in responding back.

The Savus are very laid back. The male gets a little testy if we remove him from the tank first but other than that they both are very mello.

There was 3 to choose from (2 male & 1-female), the third (male) was very fiesty, got away from handler and took 4 of us to catch him, hissing and stricking the whole time. I could kick myself now for not getting him now for breeding since they seem hard to come by.

As for the care, I researched the Savu Islands and try to follow closely to thier natural habitat. There is very little available on thier care. The main change had been switching to f/t, they adjusted fairly quickly second feeding took without a problem. Its been a couple of years now and they are doing great.
