Thanks. My best advice for vivs is to look around and get ideas from different setups. Ask people what they like most and least about their setups so maybe you can learn from others. I haven't visited Herp Habitats yet but I would go look around in there some too. For me one of the biggest things was accessability. I'm a little undertall, lol, so I needed to be able to access the viv from a couple of points. I not only have the sliding glass doors in front but I have doors on the side of the viv. One is all wood and the other has a plexi-glass window so I can see in from the side. This was important to me for cleaning reasons. The thing I wish I had done differently was have a bigger cabinet underneath so I could fit the humidifier in there better and have room for a bigger pond (16 gal doesn't seem big enough lol).
