Hello from NE Ohio

Hey all,

I am new here, but not to the herp world. I've had an Asian Box Turtle, an Eastern Painted Turtle, 3 corns and a ball python. Those were in the past and due to newbness, 2 passed away, 4 were given to friends due to hard times...

I just got a Savannah Monitor from my sister who didn't want it. She's a little thing about 6 - 7 inches. Eating and basking and making BMs.

I enjoy reading about reptiles, dreaming up designs for vivariums (though I have yet to make one), and learning about reptiles.

I am studying to become a vet tech and hope to work with reptiles.

Anyway that's about it.

I love learning about herps too and can't wait until I can get a text book on herpetology to read just for fun. I'm a little bit of a geek

I love it too! Yeah that would be cool to get a herp text book. You have any certain ones ur looking at? I have found a few on Amazon, I'd like to get but they're like $75+ a pop.
