hi, i just joined. i live in southern illinois, work as a correctional officer, own my own home and am a single father with custody of my son. i have a two car garage dedicated to my herps. currently I have 5 corn snakes, 2 white sided black rat snakes, 1 red tail boa, 2 iguanas, 2 bearded dragons, 2 leopard geckos, 1 savana monitor, and 1 chilean rose hair tarantula. i will soon be building several racks and cages for more herps, also I am fixing up a pole barn on my property to accomidate rodent cages. i raise my own mice, and also have started raising pygmy mice. next summer I will begin raising rats. although I have several herps I keep merely as pets I plan on breeding some of my animals and hopefully starting a successful reptile breeding business. i should be able to breed my corn snakes, black rat snakes, and leopard geckos in the spring. hey, it's a start. once I have some of my debts caught up I will begin getting very serious about purchasing animals for breeding stock. look for the name Guyer Genetics in the future. i will post pics of some of my animals in the photo gallery.
