Re: Introduction
Hello, I need help in identifying my 2nd Bluey Murphy,(pictured at bottom) I have looked at all sorts of pics & can't figure out what he is as there are so many different colors. My next problem is he/she has started to bite & lunge at me, he is about 3 years old. I have always been able to handle him & he was my little lover & would sit with me for hours now he is doing this. Could he/she be going through some kind of phase I haven't read about? I got him as a youngster from a kid that only fed him crickets, & he has either been stepped on or was malnourished as he is very flat in the middle & always turns to the side when picked up. Can you PLEASE give me answers as to what may be going on? I feed them high quality cat food mixed withreptile pellets, fruit, & some veggies. Neither he nor Maxx (pictured on your Indonesian page) will eat any greens. So any info you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, DJ dyjsr1@verizon.net

Re: Introduction
He looks a bit like an Irian Jaya
Do you supplement? Do you provide UVB lighting? The hump/dip combo reminds me a bit of metabolic bone disease, if indeed that is the early stages of it then you definitely need to do an overhaul and make sure he has a good UVB light, supplements and a healthy diet. I used to run the greens through a food processor with boiled chicken and veggies. When they are chopped finely they can't pick out the greens. Also spreading a bit of chicken babyfood on greens sometimes helps get them interested. My skinks loved omelettes. I would mix eggs, greens, squash and turkey burger and then microwave it.

Re: Introduction
Welcome to Herp Center. I have a blue tongue that looks very similar to that and I was told he was an Irian Jaya. Hope you like it here.
