Hello to everyone! Thanks for having such an awesome site, and the friendliest herp forum I've been to. I am new to the site, but not new to herps. I have had a BP for 13years, "Nake" the snake. I bought him from a private sale from someone I met in a pet store that I had previously bought a sick BP from who died several weeks later. I was planning on purchasing another BP from them and was very glad to meet someone who had a healthy snake and wanted to part with it. He got his name from an 18 month old girl (his previous owner) who could not pronounce her "S's" yet! He was purchased in NH. Last summer, he made the almost 4,000 mile trip across the country with me to my home on Prince of Whales Island in Southeast Alaska.

Recently (in November) I opened a small pet store on POW Island. I currently have a Uro Mali, Golden Gecko, Hermit Crabs, Millipede, rodents, and many freshwater and saltwater fish. My herps change regularly with sales. Although I've had the Uro for 5months - not to my disappointment! I will be very sad when I do finally sell her. Next week I have a couple more BP coming and an Albino Corn! It will be my first Corn snake, I am very excited! I am one of only 5 permit holders in Alaska to have a local cold saltwater fish tank! It is 150gallons and has some amazing rare and little known species. All of which I capture myself.

I am constantly trying to find information to help me take better care for all of the animals and fish I have and may have a lot of questions in the future. But for now I just wanted to introduce myself and compliment you all on the friendliness and ease on navigation on this forum.
