Hello from Seattle!

Hi everyone! My name is Emily and I'm a herp newbie. I acquired 2 baby ball pythons a few weeks ago, and am completely loving them. I've spent hours scouring the internet for information, but have found that some things you just gotta ask the experts about!

I'm really excited to have found online communities of herp enthusiasts, as most of my friends and co-workers get that "just smile and nod" look when I tell them about my snakes. It's good to be amongst people who understand....

I TOTALLY know what you mean!! There are a couple of herp enthusiasts at work...but we seem to be on different levels. They have them to breed or just think they're cool and offer mediocre care. I do my best to care for them beyond the minimum requirements...yet these other herpers just don't understand that level of herp keeping. I just don't get it. Two people out of the five really do "get it". It's nice to have these communities of like-minded people in large quantites...

Welcome to the forum!
