Well, I've done this all a bit backwards really!

I have already posted about getting a uro and falling in love with them.

Now I have a head on my shoulders and I'd like some advice into which breed of lizard to get.

I'm not so keen on insects *shudders* well not ones with too many legs. I could probably cope with mealworm type maggotty looking things - if I used tweezers!

So I'm thinking of a tank 4 foot by 2 foot for floor space.

So... expert people

What breed should I get?

I dont want anything that's going to get too big - loved the iguanas I saw but think I may become afraid of something that can grow over a foot longer than me!

I'm from Worksop England> I am 23 and have a 6 year old boy.

We currently have a black rat snake and a cornsnake.

Welcome to HC. (lol) If you don't mind mealworms or other maggot type critters, I would go with a leopard gecko. In that size of an enclosure, you can get a few of them. (I am partial to leopard geckos.)
