Re: Hey I'm New Here!

Im thinking of getting either a Oriental fire bellied toad, African clawed frog or a type of newt. But when I went to Shirley aquatics (the nearest shop which sells fish, reptiles etc) they didn't have any newts there.
Or is there any other good beginner amphibian?

Re: Hey I'm New Here!

well, you seem to be heading towards aquatic/semi aquatic animals, and that's about your selection.

You could also do tree frogs or land toads/frogs.

Part will depend on what you are interested in, and the other part will be what kind of set up you want or have space for.

Here is a good set of care sheets for frogs, toads and some newts.
Do some research and figure out what you may want.
