I'm a new member to the group and I just wanted to start off by saying "I'm a herpeholic." I love studying Reptiles (mostly Snakes and Turtles) I'm working with a group to find breeding nests for Alligator Snapping Turtles (in the state of Kansas.) Alligator Snapping Turtles are rare in the state, but are not on the Endangered Species List because there hasn't been any proof found yet that they breed in the state. I'm hoping that some of the Kansas Members will be able to help me with this project. I also love photographing Rat Snakes. If anyone knows of a good place, Preferably in the Eastern third of the state, for juvenile black and great plains rat snakes I would appreciate any help.
