Hi... New with Igs and the site...
Hi, my name is Mike and I recently adopted a 4 yr old female Iguana "Zoe"... I have been a bit slow to register here, but I have done a lot searching on this site... I just finally decided to get MY questions answered best I should register... So here we are!

Congratulations on your new adoption - and welcome to a life of iguana servitude! Hopefully your new ig overlord will be merciful and give you some time to adjust before making her demands on your time, space and money.

Thanks for the welcome! I am really looking forward to my time with her... Ijust built her a new cage in my office at home... I will definately be in here asking TONS of questions about substrates, lighting humidity, etc...
So thanks again, and soon the questions will be rolling out! |

LOL We'll be glad to help.
As for Substrate, most just go with lineoleum or tile in the bottom with maybe some sheets of newspaper on top. There are no particulate substrates safe for iguanas.
