Hi! Ok.. yes, new gal here. My new loves are my 4 clawed frogs. I bought 2 about 2 months ago, as babies.. and they both turned out to be boys. I went and bought 2 more females (for sure) last week. Alright, not sure why, but I did..
I have been searching the web, for good info, good pictures, and fun facts about these wonderful guys. Not much out there.. found your site, and hoping to expand on information and stuff we all need, when we get these frogs. They need special care and attention, and are not what most Pet shops tell you they are. My pet shop said oh they dont need anything special.. well, wrong! I did my internet homework, printed what I could find and brought it to them, so they know! Gosh.. it is frustrating! I knew they got big, ate fish, ect.. just from looking on the web before buying. I felt secure in the fact I could take good care of them.
Anyway, i thought maybe I could grow with the frogs here.. and learn and hopefully teach eventually as they grow. I do photography, and am trying to get some good photos to share with everyone.

welcome to the board cindy. The one frog I have had NO LUCK with keeping was the miniature clawed frog. I kinda gave up on the aquatic frogs and stick to the land based ones now. I know there is lots of information on their care out there on the web.

We would love to see pictures when you get them taken.

People find all kinds of ways to spell it though, it amazes me, Lacy, Laci, Lacee, Layci, Laisee, it seems the younger the child I meet the more creatively the name is spelled!
