I am not disagreeing with you about the size but I see this so often and want to ask if the lizzard is flexable cause I have never seen any of my dragons or lizzards "rotate" in their cage or viv in other words needing their length of space to turn around.

But yes I think the bigger the better I actually would suggest at least twice as wide and heigh and long.

Re: looks like a cool place

Spike, the recommendations made are usually for the best possible care for the animal. They could probably scrape by with a smaller width, but it won't be very comfortable for the dragon. It's like trying to do a u-turn in your car in a space that's just a little too small for you to just turn and go. You have to stop and back up, before you go. It's not a bad thing and it didn't do more than delay you for a couple of seconds, but it probably still annoyed you anyway, and was uncomfortable to do.

That's sort of what this is. They may not absolutely need that much in width, but if you want the dragon to be really comfortable, making sure he has enough space to move around is a good idea.

Re: looks like a cool place

I totolly redone Frank's cage yesterday. I scooped the old bedding out, and removed the divider that I had siliconed in years ago to make a wet & dry side.
Ended up using some new mat stuff from Petsmart, looks like indoor/ outdoor carpet. Also put a cat litter pan in for water. It will be much easier to clean now, in the past I had to suck old water out every week with a shop-vac.

My camera's at work, I will get some pics tomorrow.
