Re: my new royal normal
Welcome to HC. Most keepers feed on a weekly basis depending on the species and size. My corns eat once every 7 days, the boas once every 10 days. If you just got the snake it's a good idea to let it settle for a week or 2 prior to feeding or handling. A move to a new home is quite stresfull.

Re: my new royal normal
Welcome to HC Network....if he has already taken food, good for you! Weekly sounds like a plan...go by the size of the largest size of his body. I wouldnt downgrade to mice, but upsize on the rat pup size instead...Rats are more nutritious and he will most likely eat large rats when adult ....good luck!

Re: my new royal normal
Welcome to HerpCenter! There are a number of us that keep Ball pythons. Feeding once in a week is normal.
One thing I would like you to do is to use punctuation in your posts. Without it it becomes very difficult to read and understand what you are asking.
