Re: newbie.. i need help!
Hi there.
I just have to say I agree with the general concensus - separate them, get two setups, and start looking into two HUGE setups for them, because they will grow, and they will grow fast.
But also, get your little guy to a vet. Separating will probably go a long way towards fixing the problem, but they little guy sounds bad off. If it is some sort of sickness, and not just that he's nervous of the other iguana, he might not last too much longer. Getting him to a vet right away will get him a physical (which they both really need at least once a year anyway) and if he really is sick, he'll be able to get treatment right away.
I hope you do well with them. Ask any questions - we're here to help.

Re: newbie.. i need help!
welcome to HC. definitely be prepared for how big these guys get and all the equipment you'll need for them. you should probably get both into a vet as soon as possible because if the smaller one is really sick and you've had them both in the same enclosure there's a chance that whatever he has, the bigger one can get or may already have and just isn't showing signs yet. good luck with them. it'll be alot easier once you have everything properly set up and the two seperated.

Re: newbie.. i need help!
I would still contact a good vet. If in fact the smaller one was infected with a disease or parasites it could very easily have been passed to the other iguana.

Did you pick up a UVB light? It's VERY important that your Iggy has one!
