I'm a grad student at ISU working on thermal biology of ectotherms and am about to spend 9.5 weeks in Grand Cayman working on conservation of Blue Iguanas. I have a Crested Gecko,B/W reverse stripe Cali King Snake, and a stray Eastern Fence Lizard. I'm hoping to find conservation work with reptiles when I finish my masters. I am currently involved in IRCF (www.ircrf.org) and will be working with the Blue Iguana Recovery Program (Blue Iguana Recovery Program) in the Caymans. I'll be leaving Indiana for the Caymans Sept 15 and will be there working with the big blues till Thanksgiving. We are so lucky that Hurricane Dean missed the island, but it is likely that we will face other storms this year. I want to do all the good I can on the island, and also to help publicize our goals so that others may become involved. If you are interested in helping in any way, or can lead me to other valuable conservation work, do not hesitate to contact me.
