Welcome to the site!
Iguanas are challenging, but can also be rewarding.
Tell us everything you can about your set-up, lighting, and diet!

Re: new mommy
Welcome to HC!
There are several long time iguana keepers here. Myself included!
As Lacey stated if you give us detailed descriptions of what you are doing so far in regards to lighting heat diet etc we can see if there is anything that needs to be tweaked.
Iguanas are one of the more complicated animals to keep but once you have the basics down it evens out a bit.
I would suggest you check out our iguana care articles. Also pick up a copy of Green Iguana The Ultimate Owners Manual by James Hatfield. Its a very imposing looking book but don't let that throw you. Its a very entertaining read!

Re: new mommy
Welcome to Herp Center. Great to have you join us. Good for you for researc hing the needs of your new pet. As stated, Iguanas can be challenging to keep, but it is very rewarding. Take the time to set things up the best you can. It may cost a little extra for those "better" lights and what not. But you will have a healthier pet that doesn't require those expensive vet visits down the road. Enjoy, and lets see some pictures.
