Welcome Brett! I'm glad you found us!
I can't say as I have ever heard of a "blue anole".
Do you have a picture of it?

Yahoo another Canadian. We'll outnumber them yet. Welcome to the HC network Brett. Great to have you with us. I don't know much of the blue anoles. Or anoles in general. Don't they change colours like chameleons?

Re: Newbie to the community

Anoles have limited color changing ability, nowhere near the range of true chameleons.
Anoles are pretty much limited to shades of green and brown.

Re: Newbie to the community

Hello,

Welcome to the site! Anoles are sometimes referred to as "American Chameleons" because they can change their colors. Unlike true chams however, their color changing abilities, as stated, is very limited.
