the'll be coming soon, i just put her in a new cage, (8ft tall, 8ft wide, 5ft deep,) and shes seems a little stressed from the change (hasn't eaten in two days) so I don't want to stress her out anymore.

also for those of you with cages about this size what kind of humidifires do you use? (I.E. warm mist/cold mist/ultrasonic ECT.) and what size are they? in her cage their is a 8ft long 1ft wide and 5in deep river with and aqurium pump, but it's not quite getting it humid enoph, (although she has been doing laps in it. ).

I just use a fisher-price cool mist childrens humidifier that sits on a shelf just under dizzy's basking platform, it seems to do the trick along with regular mistings and daily baths.

Mine is pretty much a sealed unit with vent holes so the occasional misting takes care of humidity.
You can use either a warm or cool air humidifier. If using the warm air(Very hot actually!) you will have to protect your ig from getting burnt. Some pewople attact a pvc pipe to the humidifier that is outside the cage and connect it that way. With the cool mist humidifier if you use regular tap water you will end up with a white powder all over everything! Its the minerals in the water.
Oh yeah! Welcome to HCN!
