newbie here
hi there
i am new to this forum I cam across from the other herp forum but I was told that osme of you might be help me. i live in the uk
firstly the people who own the pair of water dragons that I now have didn't look after them that well so I am trying to make them have as much a better life style than they already have.
i have a male and a female not sure on age but the female is twice the size of the male.
They both have bits of there snot missing due to glass banging which has now stopped hopfully. But the last day or so the female gets of stressed out and runs about the viv and dives into the water when I go near her. but she hasn't done this any of the other times. Is this normal ?
Also what can I feed my Chinese Water Dragon apart from crickets and wax worms
Thank you and hope someone will be able to help me out.

Welcome to Herp Center! Can you give us more information about how you are keeping (what size enclosures, temperatures, etc.) the water dragons? When did you get them?

HI and welcome to the HCN, Ive kept 3 water dragons in the past all of them suffering from snout damage, its very common but can lead to other health issues if not dealt with properly. You should bring them to the vet for some antibiotics...What are your temps in the enclosure, humidity? What size enclosure are they in...all that info will be able to help us give you some good advice The link Lacey posted is a very good caresheet that Id advise you to have a good look at

Welcome to Herp Center Oolix! I cannot help you much with your water dragons, but you've found the right site that can! Good luck and ask questions ... it's how we all learn, especially me!
