Hello from Louisiana.
My name is Amber, I'm 25 years old and I live in Southeast Louisiana. I have been facinated with reptiles since I can remember. I first started working with reptiles at 14 when I ran a petshop by myself. My first reptile was a ball python.
My parents opened a petshop in 99 and I worked there for the 5 years we were opened (very bad area to have a petshop). There, I rehabilitated reptiles who were taken into the shop, most of which were mistreated by the people who owned them. There was never a time that my house didn't have ATLEAST 5 reptiles in it. I've had Savannah monitors, a 7ft burmese, many ball pythons, tarantulas, skinks, bearded dragons and geckos come to my house and adopted out to good homes.
Now that I'm older and I have a real job, I don't do this anymore. I have my Boston Terrier, 1 community fish tank, 2 bichirs and 4 African Clawed Frogs.
The two most recent members of the family is Draigen the Bearded Dragon that my parents got at a reptile show and the newest is my Egyptian Uromastyx.
