Intro & question...

Dear List,
Hi, my name is Kim / MommaF8 & I am totally new to this list. My sons want a lizard & from what I can gather a Leopard Gecko is the way to go.
I am trying to track down a reliable / reputable source for them in my area...Spokane, Wa.
If any of you can recommend a place, or if anyone lives in my neck of the woods, please feel free to give me a holler!
Thanks & I look forward to learning from you folks!
Sincerely,
Kim / MommaF8

Hello,

Welcome to the HC Network! Hopefully one of our members will be able to locate someone local to you for the Leo. In the meantime, we have a caresheet on Leopard Geckos here if you are also seeking information.

Hi Kim, welcome to HCN. We have a few members from your area that might be able to help you find a breeder or locate some geckos.

Ooh ooh! Pick me! I have offers for leopard geckos all that time that I can't take because I am full to the brim. I don't have a suitable gecko to place right now but if you are willing to hold tight I can help you out.
AVOID SPOKANE PETSTORES AT ALL COSTS.
Evergreen and northwest seed both have mite infestations and petco and petsmart geckos are not properly cared for in the least.

Too bad you weren't looing for tree frogs, I have an abundance of those.

I'll keep my eyes peeled. Also check craigslist and the nickle-nik, sometimes you get lucky.
