Zairs useing his water pan/and making taming progress
most of the time now, Zairs using his water pan for a toilet and it makes keeping his cage clean alot easier. he just starteed recently so he still sometimes goes on the floor.
He's also making great progess with the hands off taming, he actually came towards me instead of baking off when I went into his cage to feed him. and he's letting me go from holding my hand over him to petting him on the crest and shoulders. and not just light petting he let me rub him and peel away a peice of shed that was hanging off. his blues came out nice and bright under the shed. he found a new spot to escape wearthe cage is against the wall and used it three times before I figured it out. He's stopped searching the cage for exits every waking hour and only looks if im late to feed him. I have plans to make a nice cage for him in my new room I still wondering if i'll maki a pvc one of if I want one built into the room which is completely possable since the room is yet to be started, but it should go up fast once it starts |

Good job Jade! Sounds sweet! I wish I had an iguana..
Please take pics so we can see the little beauty! Sounds like you're doing all the right things to gain his trust, well done, keep up the hard work and you'll have a dog-tame gentle giant following you round soon enough! ![]()

Zoks the same way. Outside the cage she doesn't mind but if I put my head in there with the camera she goes bonkers.
