Advice please
Now our iggy has settled we would like to start 'taming' him (as much as we can!) anyone have any ideas or can let me know how their experiance has worked? George doesnt mind me cleaning his habitat but isnt overly keen to b picked up but does settle abit outside his 'house'. Any advice would be gratefully accepted

I only had an iguana for a short time but here are a few threads that relates to your question until someone can answer here.
Am I taming it right? Did I just destroy all goodwill with my iguana AGAIN? Handling Stress/handling HHHEEEEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPPPPP (agian)!!!!

Sorry for the delay in answering... I was on a much-needed vacation!
What I did for Gil when he was that young was to take him out of his enclosure about an hour after the lights went off. Keep the room dark, maybe just a TV with the volumne low. He will be drowsy enough not to care too much, yet conscious enough to know you have him. I believe that his was a huge factor with Gil gaining trust for me so quickly. Good luck and go buy James W.
