Get him to a vet. Theres nothing really that you can do yourself. Do not mess with him because it is possible for you just to hurt him further. When taking him to the vet either handle him with good care, or if you can take the enclosure with you.

Keep us posted and good luck. Hope he's ok.

re: I'm New and Need Help

I will also scream "get him to a vet" from the roof tops. Spinal cord injuries are not something you can fix. I have a few questions myself though.

How big is his enclosure?
What type of UV light do you use, how close to the bulb can the iguana get, and how old is it?
What do you feed him regularly?
How old is he?
How long have you owned him?

re: I'm New and Need Help

My enclosure is about 5 feet tall and 4 feet wide.
He really doesn't get too close to the light and for the uv part we normally take him outside for a while.
Yes we do feed him alot, actually kinda fat.
And he is about 2 years old.
And I've owned him since about 7 weeks after he was born.

This does not tell us anything about what type of light he has. We need to know the brand. How often and for what duration is he outside? Do you keep him in the shade or take him into the full sun?

And I echo everyone else: GET HIM TO THE VET!!
