Lucky Is home

Well al ittle update on Lucky. He is home as of yesterday. I am absolutely amazed that he lived through this whole ordeal! He is now on a serious round of antibiotics twice a day. One injection and one by mouth. He is allowed NO climbing sticks or anything to ensure that the incisions heal nicely. He is also on a nice baby food diet to ensure that everything digests nicely as the incisions in the intestines heal. He has had NO seizures for the last three days, so we are on a roll!!! He is now in my room with no other animals as to not stress him out. He is kind of depressed and just lays around, which is a good thing, so he does not hurt himself. He does take the baby food from a syringe nicely, so that is also great! I must say the trauma docs did an excellent job on him as we all did not think he was going to make it! I am so glad he did though after the week I had with my kitty!! That would have been another devastating blow!

I however have realized I am in the wrong business after I was done paying my bill with the trauma doc, lol. I should be doing what he is doing, lol

Hello,

Glad to hear that he is on the road to recovery. Yes, the vets can cost a pretty penny.
