A) Yep! He's a boy! And very handsome too!
B) Glad to hear the iguana has finally got you completely trained and settled down. LOL
C) Go figure? Chinese bulbs with inconsistent quality? Who'd of thought? (no offense Anthony) They are very decent bulbs, just need to keep a few around in case of a blow-out (much like a LOT of US bulbs).
D) I too am very proud of you and all that you have accomplished.
E) Continued good luck in the future. ;-)

Thanks for the kind words...

Well, much better to have a Chinese bulb with inconsistent quality than to try to get a "perfect" bulb that I just can not buy no matter how hard I try (No offense Dominick.)

And it worked out pretty well so it may not be so inconsistent at all. Maybe its the best bulb out there you never know.

Oh yes one more thing. I do agree some bulbs are of inconsistent quality and should be avoided. But I do think that it would be to the disadvantage of people if they equate chinese products to low quality. I mean, there are really bad US bulbs (as you also mentioned) but people will just say "Bad bulb", not "USA bad bulbs". But it seems that people just sort of tag on the "Chinese" when a product from China turns out bad, as if that was part of it, almost subconciously. Afterall, China is one of the biggest strongest economies in the world and companies like google, microsoft, everyone is trying to get into the Chinese market. We did invent gunpowder, the compass and all that cool stuff that we use everyday. Anyone has the right to choose to shun Chinese products if they choose, but it is my own opinion that those people would miss out on a lot of good stuff.

I entirely agree Anthony, and again I meant no offense.

Fact is just as you stated, there is inconsistency in all manufacturing no matter where it's from.

Your lamp is an excellent choice, no argument about that.

And is seems to be having a terrific effect on Tyler.

My god how did you get him that size. I've not spoken to you in ages but Odin is no where near that size. He is about 3/4 the length of my fore arm and 86 grammes (10 grammes more than he was 1 month ago when he was at the vets). Tyler is huge. Well done. Let me know your secret.

I don't have any secrets, though you're not the first person to ask this. Just good basic care that you read here on the forums, nothing special really. I guess I just picked a fast grower.
