Actually guys, if by this size, he's still not "obviously male", does that mean it is pretty much certainly a female?
I actually much prefer a male because I really am a little concerned about egg laying sometimes. Especially since in Hong Kong the herp vet isn't always available immediately, and you have to make an appointment a few days in advance. If its a male, it may get really really mean and bite me but human doctors are always available to me (both my parents are human doctors).

She certainly looks female.....what is her latest snout to vent length/snout to tail length ?

snout to tail length was 37 inches last check, but probably 38 - 39 by now because she's been sleeping all curled up this past week (I measure it while its asleep). The snout to tail length grows about 1 - 2 inches per week.

I hadn't measured snout to vent length for a while.

Would be great if you can get your boyfriend to get those pore pictures we talked about on PM, because I can't seem to get mine to stay still on a grid where her underside is visible and the pics are all blurry. I will keep trying. Also its good to make your boyfriend do some small thing for you now and then to test how much he loves you. :P

By the way how big is gandhi now?

I havent measured Gandhi in a while. Last check he was 8 snout to vent length and 30 snout to tail length but that was a month ago. Unfortunately the pore pics we have tried to take have all been blurry...We need to get a new camera. My boyfriend and I have been together long enough for me to have absolutely no question that he loves me....no more walking on hot coals

Just test him one more time...

I think mine are blurry too not because of my camera. I think that I just have the setting for ISO wrong or something which makes it extra blurry when there is even a little motion. I'm gonna have to dig up my manual.
