This little... well maybe not so little anymore... thing has been eating INSANE amounts of food for the past couple of days. It normally eats one plate but I put in two plates yesterday and by the time I got home it was all gone! I put in some more and a few hours later its all gone again! She's bulking up like a balloon!

She does look plump but they say you can not overfeed an iguana. She looks great.

I know that it would eat more when it is bigger. But then, it is bigger so it is expected. These few days, it has SUDDENLY started eating lots and lots. In fact, right after I posted that pic, I went to prepare food. I usually put about two leaves in front of it, smeared with repcal pellets dissolved and smashed, while I am preparing the food. Just to make sure she gets some of the pellets and not pick out all the other stuff. It usually eats the leaves shortly before I finnish preparing the food. Well, today, I did that. It ate the two leaves, so I went back again with a clump of food. Went to cut some more up. It ate it again. I gave it another clump etc. I had to go back like 7 or 8 times!! When I had gone through the veggies that I had washed that were in the sink, I realized that the plate was quite empty, even though I washed more than usual. It had already eaten most of it!

I just looked at some pics from before and it is so amazing the way it looks so much more mature so quickly. At the time I took those pics, I was like WOW! It looks really mature but now I look at them again it looks like a baby.
Here are a few head photos starting from December 17, which is less than 2 months ago!! I can hardly believe it has changed this much! I did measure it so I know it has grown in size, but it looks completely different in appearance!

Yep, (s)he has changed a lot. They do grow up quickly. I just noticed the other day that Huff is developing jowels. Now if he can bulk up like Liv, I'd be a happy camper. Good work Anthony.
