Out for A ride

I took Iggie for a little outing to where I work and got a few pics of her riding in the car.
Thought they were kinda cool.
Leaving our driveway

Driving down our street

And driving towards the Golf Course/Hotel

Hello,

Very creative. Does your iggy every slide off or try to get down while your driving?

She used to slide off the dash until I bought a dash cover, its attached to the dash with velcro. As far as getting down she really hasnt much interest in getting down she seems quite content sitting in the warmth of the window and looking out. She will change sides sometimes just depends on where she wants to look out.

Too cute...I use to take Taz on car rides when I just had to run to the bank or somewhere quick like that, but one day while I was taking him to school to pick up my boyfriend he crawled under my seat and popped out between my legs and wrapped around the gas pedal. He just about gave me a heart attack, I had to pull over and yell at him and then baricade him in the back window. I havent taken Dizzy in the car yet because he was too small, but he's growing like a weed, so by the time it warms up he might be big enough to ride on the dash.

Great pics! Gil also loves car rides, but he likes to wander. I drive a 1964 T-bird; it has a chrome strip on the door panel... Gil used to perch himself on the passenger seat and try to bite the iguana that "lived" in the car (his reflection)... silly boy! What's really funny is when he first gets in and head bobs... he always hits his head on the windshield! LOL
Just remember Nat... in CA it's illegal to have anything on your dash or hanging from your mirror (but I still let Gil up there too ).

Thanks Steph for the reminder I had totally forgotten, seeing how every other car has something on the dash or mirror and even the back window area.

It would be kinda funny though seeing a cops reaction to an Iguana on the dash!
Id actually love to see it cuz the new sheriffs that we have now, could use a little humor in their day!
Even at my expense hehehe
