Interspecies Dating
Well did we have a surprise today! Rex was wandering around the house, as usual. Tina, the Ctenosaura Similus, was taking a bath. We were on the porch talking to some friends and when we came inside remembered that Tina was soaking. This is what we found when we came back in! What a shock this was since they have NEVER been allowed to co-mingle since Tina can be pretty mean. I guess we don't have to worry about that any more!

Well, it doesn't end there. Rex's girlfriend, Fishhead heard about it and stopped talking to him, though she was never really a talker to begin with. It took us a while to accept Fishhead to begin with, we were not too thrilled about the whole inter-species thing.
Now, it would seem that Rex has kicked it up a notch and decided that Teena may actually be something to ponder. But, alas, Teena is too much woman for Rex. She would chew him up and spit him out, literally, it she had the inkling. LOL
It seems that Rex just decided he wanted a bath also, although he had one earlier today. I can only imagine what Teena thought when she saw this giant green lizard invading her private bath. Honestly, I am shocked there was no blood-shed. Perhaps it is the holiday season? LOL
Although, as I look at Rex sleeping peacefully, his eyes pleasantly plumping out, I have to wonder what went on in that tub. Hmmmmm. Almost forgot to mention, Teena is fixed so no babies! Thank God!
