Ohh..Cage Update!

I added another shelf and a ladder to Dizzy's cage this weekend....and I took a bunch of pictures! Sorry if you have dial up, i'll try to keep it brief!

Here is the shelf and the ladder...I put it all in myself, but them my father insisted that I let him grind off the crews because I would probably burn down the house...

Grinding....throwing sparks all over the newspaper...and he was worried about ME burning down the house!

and some gratuitous Dizzy shots...

I absolutely love this one!

And this one

He got some pureed sweet potato for breakfast...can you tell?

Phew, you had me worried for a little while there. In the first pic, it looks like you used poultry wire on the lower left. Then in the second pic, a little closer up it turned into hardware cloth. He should enjoy the enclosure once he gets used to "the change of habitat."

Nope it's 1/4in. hardware cloth, and most people advise against using the stuff that isn't coated, but Diz never touches it, he doesnt climb on it or anything. He's a good boy and uses his ladder.

I don't know if I'm the one to ask for lessons, but hopefully I could teach you to learn from my mistakes...we built the cage outside last march and dismantled the whole house trying to get it inside only to get stuck in the hall, so then we had to take it outside again and dismantle it and rebuild it in my room. So if I ever get around to moving out we're going to have to repeat the process all over again.

Thanks everyone for complimenting my pretty boy, I would relay the compliments, but his ego is already too big to fit in that cage
