What kind of terrarium is it outside in? If it is glass this is a no-no. Direct Sun on glass will make it WAY to hot inside for the ig. Just like when you get in your car on a sunny summer day...

Good luck! It looks great.
Its original cage is inside the house, but I take him outside in a 60g aquariuam filled with dirt and plants. on top there is a mesh so he cant escape and I put a container that will give shade to half of the aquarium if he needs to cool down... but for the most part he stays on the sun the whole time. I think that it is best for him to get some natural sunlight rather than from the lightbulb the whole time.

Ussually hes there for 30m to an hour.... should I not leave him in a tank?

and thanks for all the feedback

No! Putting a glass enclosure in the sun creates avery hazardous situation. The glass acts like a greenhouse and causes the temperature to rise. Besides glass filters out UVB rays so unless the sun is shining straight down thru the top it isn't doing any good.
Your diet also needs an overhaul. Please check out the link you were given. Iguanas are fairly specific in their dietary needs. and there are some foods that are ok once in a while but should not be fed daily. Kale is a food that is fed only occassionally if at all. The bulk of the diet should be collard, mustard, and turnip greens, all fed daily.

Re: Heeere's Puffy!!!

You might make him a hip leash (learn how here: http://reptileguides.herpcenter.com/...127.html?t=127) and take him out on your shoulder, tah-dah instant bonding time and he's getting some unfiltered UVB.

Re: Heeere's Puffy!!!

yes, keep that glass tank inside. What about a dog cage/crate? you could shade half and keep half in the sun. Put some blankets down so the bottom doesn't get hot.

Re: Heeere's Puffy!!!

ya the sun shines from the top on the aquarium... i will try to find something else to put her outside.

and I have a leash but he hates it too hahah.. he flips rolls jumps and all other kinds of acrobatics lol. sometimes ill put a sweater on the chair and leave him there with the leash next to me while I play video games or watch tv.. but he doesnt like this at all. oh plus since the clip is metal last time it seemed to hurt the skinn( it looked a bit irritated were the clip was) so I try to avoid using it.

Re: Heeere's Puffy!!!

Check out the link to the hip leash that Lacey gave you. It is much safer than the commecial leashes that go around the throat. It is also much easier to get on and off and the ig doesn't mind it as much. I use one on my adult female
And it will cost you about a buck to make!

Re: Heeere's Puffy!!!

Also the leash isn't used to 'walk' them, just so you have something to grab on to if they take off, if you're doing it right the iguana shouldn't even know it is being restrained.
