Is a White Foot Anything to Worry About?

I'm a new iggy owner, got my boy from a person who also rescued him. One of his front feet has turned white. He doesn't seem to be bothered by it and he doesn't get annoyed if I handle the foot. It doesn't seem swollen.......it's just white. It doesn't seem any colder or warmer than any other part of his body I'm just making sure that that kind of color change doesn't mean what it does in a human...i.e. bad circulation, I sure don't want to see the handsome little guy lose his foot!

It's probably just getting ready to shed. I've responded in more depth about your concerns in your other post.

Yes that glove effect is a preliminary to the foot shedding.

Re: Is a White Foot Anything to Worry About?

No need to worry, the skin is just getting ready to shed, sometimes my iguanas foot will stay white like that for a week or two before it finally sheds.
