Yes 4 legs...unless the antannae are really legs...but I doubt that because they don't move at all they just point straight out. The weather has been getting really cold the last few days so maybe the boogers just were seeking refuge and were doing so in the logs...Dunno...but I hope all of this works...Thanks

As of midnight last night(local time) the shelving and plexiglass were replaced in the cage and Jane was allowed to sleep in her own quarters...She liked being out of the cage a little too much to go to sleep while free-roaming. Her shelving and her carpet are the only things I have replaced, I am going to let her free roam again today just to be on the safe side...you know so I can watch out for the little boogers...My bathroom looked rather funny, the tub had I'd say at least 30 babies and adults floating around and stuck to the sides all dead...I made sure lol...Hopefully I got em all...Id really rather that all that work not be in vein Thanks again for everyones awesome help and advice!! ;D

before you totally assemble the cage again, I would be sure it is totally aired out and if you can, just as a final security step, you may want to bake the wood at 200 F for around an hour, it is just an added security measure.

Do NOT put a no pest strip in or near the cage. These things are very toxic. If you are talking about a yellow sticky trap this is something different and is a mechanical not a chemical control.
Do you possibly have house plants in the room. the flies could be coming from the houseplants and being attracted to the cage.

I disassembled the cage...the bugs were too much of a problem...now she is free rooaming, but she is not warm enbough and she doesn't want to eat, she wont stay under her lights long enough to pick up any heat and I dont know about the eating...Shes just not acting normal...Im not sure what to do...It almost feels to me as if she is slowly dieing off, but her colors are so bright...I know I need to start her on probiotics, she came off of antibiotics just a little bit ago...But as far as the heat goes Im not sure what to do...She has a pad that I physically put her on every night and as an extra precaution I 'tuck' her in w/ a towel...She seems fine with all this while I'm doing it, but sometime during the night she crawls away form both so by the time I wake up in the morning she is so cooolllddd to the touch...At night she has a Ceramic Heat Emitter and a heating pad...during the day she has he 10.0 Reptisun light, a 150wt basking bulb and a 100 wt red glow bulb...Any ideas? Thanks in advance

You are going to have to get the heat problem solved. Either by returning her to an enclosure or by raising the temperature in the entire room. If not warm enough she cannot digest her food and it will literally rot inside her stomach and kill her.
As well as opening her up to repiratory problems.

Okay...I was way too hasty with that post...I thought about it all day today at work and have it figured out...She moved off the heating pad last night because it was too warm, I use her towel to cover her at night and the heating pad was up too high, I realized that the past couple of nights the pad has been on the middle setting not middle/high...She wasn't eating because I forgot the probiotics after her antibiotic regimen was complete...My wife left work this morning and got the probiotics from petco, by the time I got home from work her food was gone so that definitely did the trick...I'm a firm supporter of the stuff ...

As far as the cage goes, after the "re infestation" I tore apart the whole thing and tossed it... It began as a re-cleaning project but as I tore it all down again I payed attention to new things...it was kind of like watching a movie for the 2nd time, lol...I noticed that the bugs were burrowing into the framework of the cage, it was constructed with 2x2 ballisters...they also burrowed into the plywood of her shelf...But at that point I decided that enough was enough so I tore it completely apart and tossed it, then I had to clean my couches and the walls/carpet around the cage
Ill tell you what that half of the room is immaculate now lol. Now she has her own room, she is officially a free-roamer.

The bugs...I believe they've been neutralized in my house, they haven't followed MJ to her room and I have yet to see one, so...But I believe that they like every other pest I have in my yard (Wasps, Bees, flying ants, some crazy armored spiders...)come from the field behind my house, its a horse field. The other day I saw a swarm of the same little bugs out at a job site in the country, they were swarming in a huge ball/cloud on both sides of the driveway...

Again thank you for all of your help...Talk to ya soon!
