Today during Ghengis Kahn's bath time, I noticed he has what looks to be a scratch towards the base of his tail. He is shedding so I think he may have scratched himself. I clipped his nails today. I am going to put neosporin in it and keep it clean. Ghengis gets bath everyday. Do you think this method of treatment will be enough?

The neosporin should do the trick, but do keep your eye on it and if it doesn't improve, get him to the vet.
