Blood?

Hi. Im new to Herpcenter. I am also new to keeping an Iguana. Ive had it for a couple months now. Well my question is, this morning I woke up and there was blood in its droppings. It was very noticeable. Does anyone know what this means or what I should do?

Welcome to Herpcenter!
Blood in the droppings of any animal is a bad sign!
It means that there is a problem and it needs to go to the vet.

Welcome to HCN. Without a doubt a vet visit is in order.

Welcome to Herp Center. I agree with the others... get your ig to a vet. ASAP.

I'm going to jump on the band wagon here, Welcome, and go to the Vet PDQ, blood in the stool is never a good sign with any animal.

Take him to the vet and take a fecal sample too....refriderate it to keep it fresh also.

How big is the iguana and what is its substrate?
