Pore problem?

This is the first year that i've dealt with an ig in heat, and so its the first time i've dealt with and ig who has enlarged femoral pores. Dizzy seems to have pulled out a couple of the waxy umm....I want to call them "plugs" but that just makes me think of sperm plugs...either way he's lost 3 or 4 of them, and it appears that one of them bled when it came out, should I be concerned, or is it normal?
Here's a shot of one....the others were on the other side and he wouldn't let me get to them.

Hello,

Seminal plugs are normal, but you have me in regards to them ripping them out.

I think that they wear the waxy secretions down, break them and pull them out. But I'm not completely sure. I would treat the one that bled like I would treat other wounds. Soak it in a water/Betadine mix (enough to taint the water) and then lightly coat it with triple antibiotic daily. You need to keep his environment extra clean and watch for any signs of infection. I'd probably be more concerned if the pores were impacted.
